THE STORY OF ROYCE (BILL) WILLIAM ALLEN PROSPECTOR

This is the story of Bill Allen, an old school contemporary prospector and most extraordinary man. Bill has achieved in his lifetime more than most prospectors could ever hope for. The book is also a historical reference of the places that not only Bill but also his father Tom worked and lived. Their lives are the thread that runs through some of the most historic and significant mining centres in Western Australia.

Karl Wolzak is a cartographer/surveyor and principal of Resource Mapping Pty Ltd, a company that offers a wide range of services to the mineral exploration and mining sector in Western Australia, principally in the fields of cartography, mining title management and GIS.

Bill Allen was a client of his for almost 20 years. Karl provided many services and advice to Bill during the latter part of his prospecting activities and through this working relationship established a close bond and friendship with him.
